Sabine is half French, a quarter German and a quarter Irish. She speaks French, German and Japanese. A Graduate of Oxford University her career combines six years in investment banking with Nomura and CSFB and six years with Spencer Stuart focused primarily on Private Equity assignments. She then spent two years in Private Equity as Head of Deal Origination with Duke Street Capital. She left in 2000 to set up Cobalt Partners. Sabine focuses on Healthcare and Social Care.

Jutta is trilingual, studied Philosophy and Literature in Heidelberg and Münster, Germany, and holds an MBA from London Business School.

Laurie has US, UK and Canadian citizenship and holds a master’s degree from the School of Informatics at Indiana University. Her career includes fifteen years at global executive search firms Spencer Stuart and Heidrick & Struggles based in London before returning to the States in 2008. Laurie founded a nonprofit practice providing leadership and board placements before joining Cobalt Partners in 2020. She is now in charge of Cobalt US with a primary focus on Healthcare and Education.

Suparna is British and speaks English, and four Indian languages. She graduated from Calcutta University, India with a degree in Business Economics. She spent the early part of her career based in Bangalore & Mumbai working across different aspects of media including research, planning, promotion, advertising, brand management and product development.

In 2001, she moved to the UK where she joined Informa plc, where she worked as Revenue Head for flagship maritime titles. Suparna joined Cobalt in 2012 to be in charge of finance and to do research across Europe and India.

Maelenn is French and speaks English and Spanish. After graduating in Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering from Paris Dauphine University, she spent five years in the leverage finance team at KBC in Paris before joining Silverfleet Capital in 2005. At Silverfleet Capital, as a member of the Paris-based team, she worked on a number of transactions in addition to contributing to the origination of new investment opportunities throughout France. Among others, she played a key role in Silverfleet Capital’s investment in Histoire d’Or. Maelenn joined Cobalt in 2012 and focuses on Consumer/Retail and Industrial sectors across France.

Madeleine spent the early part of her career in Investment banking with Kleinwort Benson, based both in London and New York. She then worked as an institutional fund manager at Saudi International Bank for 10 years , latterly as Head of Fixed Income. Since 2000 she has been a head hunter and joined Cobalt Partners in 2005 where she focuses on businesses services. Madeleine is a graduate of Manchester University.

Brendan is a graduate of IPAG Business School. An entrepreneur at heart, he joined 1001 listes at the very beginning and played an active role in its development through to its acquisition by TF1.

In 2008, he co-founded easiware, a SaaS company specialized in Customer Experience, and led it for over 15 years. The company was self-financed for more than a decade before receiving support from Ardian in 2021. It grew profitably and served over 500 brands across Europe. He continues to be a mentor within Réseau Entreprendre,

Brendan joined Cobalt Partners in 2025, focusing on the Tech / Business Services sector.

Sheilagh has been in search for over twenty years. She began her research career in a boutique search firm specialising in working with American multi-nationals. Later, as Head of Research at Bird & Co, she managed the research department and worked on her own searches before setting up her own research consultancy. Sheilagh joined Cobalt at inception in 2000 initially as a generalist but for the last 7 years focusing on the healthcare sector. Sheilagh works on Chairman / CEO searches and Management and Market Due Diligence projects.

After an entrepreneurial experience, Caroline began working with a first firm on recruiting C-Level profiles alongside investment funds in 2020.
